Joshua A. Wolf, though presently incarcerated, is a senior web devel- oper with UnlockedLabs and Washington University in St. Louis. During his incarceration he earned a master’s degree and became a dual certified Literary and Music Braille transcriber with the Library of Congress. His story illustrates the power of unconditional love and forgiveness and teaches us how to continue on in our life’s journey even in the face of unspeakable human pain and suffering. He attributes his entire story to the grace of God and the love of his Papa.
This is my favorite picture. It is of Papa, me and a great aunt in a prison visiting room. It was taken in May of 2009. I always looked for- ward to seeing Papa on visits. If I remember correctly, he is wearing the same Polo that I buried my face in on the day he hugged me in the police interrogation room. One day I plan to go home to him in peace. Until then I have much work to do.
More to come soon
